Week 8 - Blog reflection
What is different about developing instruction with audio? Is it more efficient? Do you think about how you instruct someone differently? Are there limitations? Benefits? If so, what are they?
Instruction on paper can be expressed so learners read for themselves and understand. For audio instruction, the instructor’s voice should be audible. If not listener won’t understand even though they repeat it several times. If it’s face to face then they can ask to repeat or speak slowly. I don’t think audio is more efficient than text-visual.
There are some limitation to audio instruction. Audio can be useful for some kind of instruction but it is not always helpful. It can be of big help for auditory learners or to learn pronunciation or language.
